Size zero is DISGUSTING says Welsh fashion expert
Fashion Expert Tracy Pritchard who is the head of University of Glamorgan’s School of Fashion and Retail Design says;
"Women of all sizes deserve to have choice in fashion and brands size zero ‘disgusting’.I am an advocate of larger sizes, from people like Mark Jacobs, Chanel and Dolce and Gabbana".
"Julien Macdonald doesn’t go over a size 14. That’s outrageous because fashion should be inclusive. We should be celebrating different bodies".
I am so glad Tracy is speaking out for plus size women and thoroughly agree with all her comments.
I personally as a plus sized woman would prefer to see women my own size and body shape modelling the kind of clothes I would like to wear.
Size Zero vs Plus Size
Which would you prefer to see on the catwalk?
Which body shape is more beautiful?
Which one looks healthier?
Which dress size is more realistic in reflecting the majority women in todays society?

Kate Dillon Plus-Sized Model
Kate Dillon was hailed as "the next Cindy Crawford" when she began modelling as a slender fashion model at the age of 16, but Kate starved herself to maintain the body she needed as a high-fashion model.
Kate was bullied at school, being called “overweight Kate” but she was secretly battling anorexia, desperate to keep at an underweight size 6.
However, when she started eating, it got her modelling agencies and managers complaining that she was now too fat. Disgusted with their responses Kate Dillon decided to quit modelling.
Kate has successfully re-invented herself and imposed her beauty in fashion well beyond the concept of size.
Today as a recovered anorexic she is more successful than ever in her career as a plus-size model with three MODE covers, a clothing contract with Liz Claiborne, a cosmetic contract with Isabella Rossellini's Manifesto line and speaking engagements at forums such as Harvard University. Kate was also the first plus-size model to appear in a U.S. Vogue photo spread.
Kate is very active in environment-related and eco-fashion initiatives like Ecochic in Geneva. She supports Global Green. She also collaborates with Half the sky, an organization supporting women's rights.
Kate Dillon is an inspiration not only to plus-size women but also to young women who suffer from eating disorders, as she is proof that these illnesses can be overcome, you do not have to be a size zero to have a successful modelling career, nor do you have to be stick thin to look beautiful.

Drop Dead Diva Brooke Elliott
Plus Size Actress Brooke Elliott is best known for her role as Jane Bingum in Drop Dead Diva, a show about a shallow size zero model who is killed in a car crash and gets brought back to life in the body of a plus size, intelligent, lawyer, hoping to find the meaning of inner beauty.
Brooke isn't embarrassed about being cast as the shy, plus-sized Jane,
she says "it's not the size of the actress in the part, it's the amount of heart in the
project that counts. We're conditioned to believe that beauty comes in one specific package, but this project is dispelling that myth, saying that beauty is everywhere, in every body type, in every type of person".
During a recent interview she said she would like to see more normal-looking body types featured on other shows. "Hopefully we'll get a little bit more realistic in what we're watching,"
Brooke Elliott is a attractive, talented, proud of her curves and a really big inspiration to all plus sized women.

On Trend - Louis Vuitton Inspired Full Skirted Look
Louis Vuitton's Autumn/Winter 2011 ready-to-wear collection features gorgeous big, full skirts and full-skirted dresses. Other designers such as Paul Smith, Prada and Drie Van Noten have also released similar collections.
Girly, feminine and romantic, the vintage 50′s and early 60′ s inspired full-skirted look is ultra flattering to the fuller figure, with nipped in waists to acccentuate curves.
This classic look will make your waist look smaller and emphasise your bust, play up your curves and show off your best assets.
If choosing a full skirt, team it with a corset top to draw attention to your bust and decolletage. This will also balance the bulky texture the full skirt. This trick will create an hourglass figure and flaunt your perfect silhouette.
To complete your outfit accessorise with classic pumps, vintage inspired handbags, pearls and elegant elbow length gloves.
High street shops havent released their own full skirted ranges yet, but I'm sure that soon they will all be unveiling their own Louis Vuitton style full skirted dresses.
It has been hard to find similar styles at affordable prices for plus sized women, but I love the look so much I have scoured every online shop for similar plus size designs.
So if you want to beat all the other fashionistas and be on trend wearing the look early, check out these gorgeous full skirted styles for plus-sized figures.

Plus Size Celebrities - Ruth Jones
What's occurrin' with Ruth Jones
The Welsh actress, comedienne and writer is best known for being the co-creator and star (as Nessa) in TV comedy Gavin & Stacey.
She is also known for her comedy performances as Myfanwy in Little Britain aswell as Nighty Night and Saxondale plus for dramatic roles in TV dramas Fat Friends and The Street.
And despite being portrayed in many of her TV roles as a fat frump (or as Nessa the tattooed, PVC clad chav with dark lipsticks), in real life Ruth Jones' style is much softer and she is actually a very glamourous plus size actress that dresses glamourously to accentuate her gorgeous curves.
