Plus Size Dresses For A Summer Wedding

With my brothers wedding only 5 months away the hunt for my dress is already on. I had the same dilemma last year and ended up with a beautiful silk maxi dress from Monsoon for my friends summer wedding so decided to check them out again this year to see whats on offer.

Monsoon dont have a dedicated plus size range but a lot of their dresses do go up to a size 22 so perfect for some plus size lovelies.

Being at the height of summer I want to avoid black and also the dress needs to be suitable for the daytime and evenings events. Its a long way from home and I wont be changing.

I have my eye on four dresses (so far!), let me know what you think.

Monsoon Cannes Dress

Beautiful bright tourqouis dress would be perfect for a summers day and still look good for the evening party. It has stunning ruffle detailing and Im loving how theyve teamed it with neutral coloured bag and heels. All I'd need to find is a fascinator to go with it.

 

 

Monsoon Rhonda Rose Dress

 Not to sure if this more mother-of-the bride ? but I do love this elegant shift dress with a stunning rose print. Could be teamed with some bright purple shoes (and I'd prefer a fascinator to that hat) and for the evening add a purple bolero to finish off the look.

 

 

Sorella Shift Dress

Shift dresses can be quite plain but are always figure flattering on all shapes and this one has a stunning embellishment which adds the wow factor. I adore the colour and could really dress it up with some chunky jewellery and brightly coloured accessories.

 

Lucca Lace Dress

So I usually avoid lace (for the itch factor) but I absolutely love this nude Lucca dress with its flattering silhouette made from a beautiful lace. Is it too under stated for a wedding though? I would definately team it with brighter accessories if I do decide on it.
