Emme was the first successful plus sized model and is probably the most well known and highest paid in the industry.

Aswell as modelling and having her own clothing range, Emme is an author and active spokesperson on body image, self esteem, eating disorders and related matters.

She has been named one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" twice and and Glamour magazine's "Woman of the Year" in 1997.

Her first book, True Beauty—Positive Attitudes & Practical Tips from the World's Leading Plus Size Model, was published in 1997. Also in 1997, she was invited to speak before a Congressional subcommittee about eating disorders.

Emme also has 16" collectable doll of her which generates money to benefit body image and self esteem organizations, Emme really has become an icon to women with a fuller figure.
