Plus Size Model Crystal Renn

Crystal Renn has been credited for making a path for plus-size models. At a size 16 she has appeared in campaigns for Jean Paul Gaultier, H&M, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and Nordstrom and has enjoyed lucrative contracts with many high-profile plus-size clothing manufacturers including Evans and Torrid.

Renn is the only plus-size model to appear on a Harper's Bazaar cover and appeared in four international Vogue editions . She is also credited for inspiring designers like Mark Fast and Zac Posen to include larger-sized models in their catwalk shows.

Renn has also written her own book, 'Hungry: A Young Model's Story of Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves '. The book is all about her experiences in the fashion industry in relation to her body transformations and she tells how her modelling career is now more successful than during her anorexic years when she dieted down to under 6 stone.
